It actually is a new model that may come out on April 21st 2011 or maybe December 9th 2010 ..
I think that they made it a slide phone because as you know the Xperia X1, Nokia N97 and Motorola Droidz 2 all slide up don't they..
The model of the phone at the side is actually quite thin maybe compared to the Ipod Touch 2nd and 3rd generation.
